SMVITM Empowers Educators Through Future-Ready Faculty Development Programme

Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), inaugurated a three-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Empowering Faculty for Academic Excellence and Institutional Transformation for Future-Ready Education.”

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal, CEO, SODE Group of Educational Institutions, who encouraged faculty members to become change-makers and inspire students through innovation and excellence. Mr. Praveen V. Gudi, Corporate Trainer and Life Coach, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the Head, Heart and Hand approach to meaningful education. Dr. Nagaraj Bhat, Principal of SMVITM, emphasised the importance of technology-enabled and student-centric teaching practices.

The FDP, being held from July 27–29, 2026, features expert sessions on mindfulness, emotional resilience, workplace wellness, Gen-Z learning, entrepreneurship, and traditional Indian knowledge systems, aimed at enhancing teaching effectiveness and preparing faculty for future-ready education.
