The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI&ML), through the AiKya Club at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, in association with the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter and ISTE Student Chapter, successfully conducted a peer-learning session on “Full-Stack Foundations with JavaScript” on 22 May 2026, from 03:00 PM to 04:30 PM at F103, Workshop Block.
The session was organized to introduce students to the fundamentals of full-stack web development and provide practical insights into building modern web applications using JavaScript technologies. The session was led by Mr. G. Bhupathe, a second-year AI&ML student, along with Mr. Chethan V. Kotian and Mr. Shivam Shetty, third-year students, for the benefit of second-year AI&ML students.
The resource persons provided a comprehensive overview of web development, explaining the roles of frontend, backend, and database systems in modern applications. The session highlighted JavaScript as a versatile language for both client-side and server-side development, complemented by demonstrations that showcased how different technologies integrate to build functional web applications.
The interactive session enhanced participants’ foundational understanding of full-stack development, encouraged hands-on learning, and inspired students to explore practical web development projects. The event proved to be highly informative and beneficial in strengthening technical knowledge among students.
