Mr. Punith Bekal Awarded Ph.D. by MAHE, Manipal

Mr. Punith Bekal, Assistant Professor (Senior) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, has been awarded the prestigious Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree by Manipal Academy of Higher Education, marking a significant academic achievement in the field of research and higher education.

He was conferred the doctoral degree for his research thesis titled “An Energy Efficient Protocol and Probabilistic Modelling for Query-Driven IoT-Based Wireless Sensor Networks”, reflecting his valuable contribution to the domains of Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), energy-efficient communication protocols, and intelligent network modelling.

The research work was successfully carried out under the guidance of Dr. Pramod Kumar, Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Central University of Karnataka, whose mentorship supported the completion of the doctoral research.

This academic accomplishment highlights the institute’s commitment to promoting research excellence, innovation, and academic advancement, while strengthening contributions to emerging areas of technology and engineering education.
