Inspiring Young Innovators: SMVITM Students Lead ATL Mentoring Sessions

As part of the ATL Connect student mentoring initiative, student mentors from Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, conducted mentoring sessions on 18 September 2026 at Shri Vyasa Maharshi Vidyapeetha High School, near Mulki, and Sanjay Gandhi High School, Ampar, near Kundapura.

The sessions aimed to encourage school students to explore innovation, technology, problem-solving, creativity, and hands-on learning through meaningful interaction and practical activities.

The SMVITM student mentors engaged with the school students, guided them through the activities, and encouraged them to experiment, ask questions, and explore their own ideas. The sessions provided an opportunity for the young learners to gain exposure to technology-driven thinking and an innovation-oriented learning environment.

The school students participated with enthusiasm and keen interest, making the mentoring sessions interactive and engaging.

Through initiatives such as ATL Connect, SMVITM continues to encourage its students to share their knowledge, mentor younger learners, and contribute to developing a culture of innovation beyond the campus.
