From Stage to Spotlight: SMVITM Sweeps Saavishkar 2026

Students of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, have brought laurels to the institution through their outstanding performances in various national and state-level competitions held recently.

At Saavishkar 2026, organized by Moodlakatte Institute of Technology, Kundapura, on April 23 and 24, 2026, SMVITM students secured the Overall Championship, showcasing exceptional talent across diverse events.

In the Cinecapture event, Guruganesh N Bhat, Kamakshi G Nayak, Nagaraja, Sathwik J, and Sanjana secured the First Prize, while another team from the institution achieved the Second Prize. Vishnu Prasad won the First Prize in Prompt, and Sunena secured the First Prize in Art Fusion – Painting.

In the Step Sync (Group Dance) event, Ananya, Spoorthi, Glenston Chris Dias, and Karthik secured the First Prize, reflecting remarkable coordination and creativity. Ganavi Sushma, Kavya, and Anushree P Tantry also secured the Second Prize in another event category.

In Dumb Charades, Ganavi Sushma, Kavya, Anushree P Tantry, and Chandrakala won the First Prize, while Shreedhanya, Shreya, Soundarya, and Sowjanya secured the Second Prize, further contributing to the institute’s overall success.
