From Idea to Impact: SMVITM Wins at Build for Bengaluru Hackathon

Mr. Chethan V Kotian (4MW23AI016) and Mr. Ashley Fernandes (4MW23AI011) have secured the prestigious “Award of Excellence” at the Build for Bengaluru national-level hackathon held on April 25–26, 2026. Organized by Google Developer Groups Bengaluru in collaboration with Rotary International Bengaluru, the event brought together innovative minds from across the country.

Their project, VoiceGuru, is a hyper-personalized, voice-first AI tutoring platform designed specifically for state board students, including the Karnataka State Board, aiming to make learning more accessible, interactive, and inclusive. The solution stood out for its real-world impact and forward-thinking approach to education technology.
