The SMVITM ACM Student Chapter, in collaboration with the Placement Cell at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), successfully organized an aptitude-focused event titled “Campus2Corporate – Your First Step Towards Placement Success” on April 10, 2026, at Lab F107. The session was held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and saw enthusiastic participation from students eager to strengthen their placement preparation.
The event was designed with a clear goal: to sharpen students’ aptitude and problem-solving skills—basically the make-or-break zone for campus placements. It provided a structured and interactive platform where participants could learn concepts, apply strategies, and test themselves in a competitive setting.
The session kicked off with a guided aptitude problem-solving segment led by Ms. Vedashree and Ms. Shushali, who broke down key concepts in quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning into practical, easy-to-apply techniques. This wasn’t just theory dumping—it was strategy-focused and straight to the point.
Following this, the energy shifted up a notch with a live quiz competition conducted using the in-house platform FacultyQuest. The quiz pushed participants on speed, accuracy, and clarity of thought, turning the room into a high-pressure, real-placement-like environment. The interactive format kept everyone on their toes and fully engaged.
To wrap things up, the top three performers were recognized and awarded certificates and mugs—small flex, big motivation. This recognition added a competitive edge and encouraged others to step up their game.
Overall, the event hit its mark. It didn’t just “prepare” students—it gave them a reality check on where they stand and what they need to improve. The initiative by the ACM Student Chapter and Placement Cell was well-received and proved to be a solid step toward building placement-ready students.
