WORLD RED CROSS DAY

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) Unit of SMVITM organized a World Red Cross day Observance on 9^th May 2016. Mr. A. Basruru Rajeev Shetty, District YRC Coordinator, Udupi, was the resource person.

During the program, Mr. Rajeev Shetty briefed about the history of YRC, the importance of being a volunteer of YRC etc.

He pointed out the importance of celebration of the Day. Principal of the College Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Dean Dr. Ganesha were also present during the program.

Ms. Suchetha Shenoy welcomed the gathering and Ms. Deeksha D. introduced the guest. Ms. Anusha V. Pai proposed a vote of thanks. Mr. Nagaraja Rao, NSS Program Officer, SMVITM; Mr. Krishnakumar and Ms. Reshma Hebbar, NSS Departmental coordinators were present.
