WORKSHOP ON LIBREOFFICE SUITE FOR NON-TEACHING STAFF

Spoken Tutorial Workshop, organized for Non-Teaching Staff on 15^th December, 2014, at CCC. As scheduled program started at 9:30 am, Mr. Rama Moorthy H, CSE Dept., briefed the LINUX operating system and stressed the importance of the spoken tutorial project under taken by IIT Bombay funded by MHRD, Govt. of India. The workshop was presided by Dr. A. Ganesha, Dean-Academics, he addressed the importance of learning software for the sake of the institutional and personal growth.

The spoken tutorial team Mr.Sharth D Shetty, Mech Dept., Mr.Raghavendra J K, Civil Dept., and Mr. Sharath Kumar, CSE Dept., continued LibreOffice suite session with important inputs and sorting out the queries at the needful time. There were 27 participants benefited with the ‘Learn by doing’ task and assignments.

Mr. Chetan R, ECE Dept., proposed vote of thanks and also acknowledged the participants for their active participation and queries. Totally, it was a good Hands-on experience to learn the FREE AND OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE (FOSS). All the HODs, from various departments attended and had given kind support and suggestions throughout the planning of the workshop.
