Webinar on ‘Preparation of Project proposal for Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) for funding’

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, SMVITM, Bantakal in association with Co-Curricular Committee and Yantrika Club of Department of Mechanical Engineering department has conducted a session on writing project proposals for funding for final year students. The online webinar was organized owing to request from students to apply for KSCST funding.

Dr. Ganesh R. Kalagi, project coordinator was resource person for the webinar. The talk in turn arranged concentrating preparing project proposal for KSCST was found useful to students to apply for all types of funding. The talk started with need for funding and useful information about applying for funding.  During the talk speaker explained do’s and don’ts followed during the choosing agencies and application submission stage for funding. The basic information was found to improve basic knowledge about the funding process in students. Later, Dr. Kalagi with the demonstration from the KSCST website explained the steps involved in the submission of KSCST project proposals. His explanation made students to understand the process and motivated them.

The webinar was attended by 30 participants. The Co-curricular coordinator of the Department Dr. Pavana Kumara organized the webinar and thanked Dr. Kalagi for sharing the information with students.
