Visit to Asha Nilaya

The community club of has organized one-day visit to Asha Nilaya (a residential-cum-day school for special abled children) at Udupi on 25 September 2016. During the visit community club has organized special interaction and entertainment program for the special abled children. Around 150 student volunteers were participated in this program, cleaned the school campus, garden and spent whole day with special abled children. The volunteers of community club engaged the children in various activities and games, which were enjoyed and appreciated by the children. Prizes were distributed to the participants.

Coordinators of community club of SMVITM handed over books, cloths, toys and the contribution collected from the staff and students of SMVITM for the development of the school building. Ms. Grace, Assistant warden of the school expressed her deep sense of gratitude to the institution and the volunteers and also appreciated the noble gesture of organizing such a memorable event for the in-mates of the school.
