Varnotsava – 2015

The second edition of the state-level Inter-collegiate techno-cultural fest “Varnothsava’ 2015” was inaugurated by H.H. Shri Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji, President of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust (SSVMET), Udupi at 9.30 AM on 20 February 2015. Sri Rathnakumar, Secretary, Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust (SSVMET). Sri Raghavendra Tantry, Administrative Officer of SSVMET, Prof. Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal, Principal, SMVITM, Prof. Dr. A. Ganesha Dean (Academics) were present during this occasion.

661 (Boys 314, Girls 347) participants from 12 engineering colleges of Karnataka state participated in this cultural and technical events held as a part of the fest.

The valedictory function was held at 4.30 pm on the same day. H. H. Shri Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji, President of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust (SSVMET), Udupi, Sri Ratnakumar, Secretary, SSVMET gave away the prizes, Sri Raghavendra Tantry, Administrative Officer, SSVMET, Prof. Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal, Principal, Mrs. Subbulakshmi N Karanth, Institutional Extra-Curricular Coordinator and Mr. Rajesh Nayak, Institutional Co-Curricular Coordinator were present in the occasion.

The overall winners’ trophy was bagged by the Srinivas School of Engineering, Mukka, Mangalore and runner up trophy was bagged by NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte. Totally, eleven events were conducted during this occasion.
