Varnothsava 2K25 inaugurated at SMVITM, Bantakal

Varnothsava-2K25, an inter-collegiate techno-cultural fest, was inaugurated at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal on 20 March 2025. Alumnus of the institute Mr. Pawan Kumar Shetty, Lead Design Engineer, Texas Instruments, Dallas was the chief guest for the inaugural ceremony. While addressing the gathering, he cherished the moments spent at SMVITM and insisted the students to use the social media platforms for the betterment of the society. Ms. Usha Bhat, another alumnus of the institute and senior faculty of music at TBOSM was the guest of honor. In her address, she appreciated the efforts of SMVITM in organizing these events for the benefit of the students. Also, she called the students to learn respecting teachers, elders and parents. She insisted the students inculcate values along with the professional life. Shri. P. Srinivas Tantry, Vice-President of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust (SSVMET), Udupi, was presided over the ceremony. Shri. Rathnakumar, Secretary, SSVMET, Dr.Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal and Dr. Ganesh Aithal, Vice Principal, Institutional Extra-curricular coordinator Mr. Roshan S Kotian were among the dignitaries on the dais.
Shri. Rathnakumar in his address conveyed his best wishes to all the participants and insisted the students having interest in art and music, to continue practicing the same as hobby along with the professional journey. Ms. Shravya Tantry welcomed the gathering. The dignitaries inaugurated the fest by lighting the lamp. Mr. Paul Suraj Noronha, Physical Education Director and Student Welfare Officer Dr. Raviprabha K have announced the winners of sports and winners of various in- house cultural and technical events of Manthana-2K25. Ms. Raksha Shetty rendered an invocation and Ms. Prerana Rao proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Herschel Dmello and Ms. Mansi Rao compered the program.
