VANAMAHOTSAVA CELEBRATION

“Prakriti” Eco club unit of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal in Association with NSS club SMVITM, Rotary Club Shankerpura organized Vanamahothsava program in the institute premises to have a lush greeneries within the campus, on 29 August 2016. Sri Rathnakumar, Secretary, SSVMET inaugurated the program. Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal, SMVITM; Rtn. Anil D’Sa, President, Rotary Shankerpura, Rtn. Ganapathi Acharya, Club Chairman, SMVITM, Bantakal, Sri Radhakrishna Prabhu, Rtd. Head Master and Yoga Trainer, Mr. Sunil Haldankar Coordinator of ECO Club of SMVITM; HODs, members of the ECO Club; members, of the faculty & staff and many students attended the program. About 100 saplings were planted at different places in the campus during the program, which was held as a part of the on-going efforts to make the campus greener and more beautiful.
