The 3 days workshop on Flutter applications

The 3 days workshop on Flutter applications was organized by the Co- curricular/Extra-Curricular Committee along with the Alumni cell of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering from 20-08-2022 to 22-08-2022.  Around 30 interested students from second year CSE participated in the workshop.

Mr Bhargav Ram Udupa, Trainee Software Engineer at Robosoft Technologies and Mr Krishnamurthy Bhagvath, Assistant System Engineer, TCS were the resource persons for the event.

The purpose of the event was to give an insight to the new technologies introduced in the Industry. Flutter is one such technology which is used in Mobile Application Development. It is an open source framework by Google for building beautiful, natively compiled, multi-platform applications from a single codebase. Hands-on experience was given to students by making them develop small applications. The students were given an assessment test at the end of the 3 days  workshop.

The valedictory program of the workshop was held on 22-08-2022. Dr Nagaraj Bhat, HOD of Computer Science & Engineering appreciated the efforts of the resource persons for giving an exposure on Flutter Technologies to the students in a short span of 3 days.

Ms. Yashaswini Jogi, Department Alumni Coordinator, Ms. Savitha A Shenoy, coordinator of Co-Curricular/Extra-Curricular activities coordinated the event.  Mr Vikramadithya, Programmer of the department assisted in Technical activities for all the 3 days.
