Technical talk on Occupational Health, Safety and Environment

A technical talk on Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Practice (OHSE) in the Infrastructure Industry sector was recently held under the aegis of  Civil Engineering Department Association “VYUHA”, at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal. The founder of 3AG Group, a voluntary organisation set up to create awareness of this subject amongst the technical students and engineers, Mr. Ganapathi Bhat Manchi delivered the technical session. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Bhat emphasized on the need of OHSE practice and enlightened the students with various  career prospects available for a Safety Engineer and also informed about the certifications required in order to upgrade the skill levels of an Engineer.

The Principal of the institute, Prof. Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal and Dr. B. Radheshaym, Head of Civil Engineering Department were present on the occasion. Mr. Vignesh Bhat compered the programme while Mr. Prithvi Shetty introduced the guest among the audience.
