Teachers’ Day and Engineers’ Day Celebration – 2017

ShriMadhwaVadiraja Institute of Technology and Management celebrated Teacher’s Day and Engineer’s Day on 5 September 2017.

Dr. Shikaripura Krishnamurthy, Former Sanskrit Professor of St. Aloysius College, Mangaluru was the Chief Guest, for the function. Addressing the gathering he explained how a teacher needs to adapt himself to be a true nation builder by not only imparting knowledge to the student but also helping them to develop good character. He also highlighted the need of collectively developing the cognitive, affective and psychometric domains of learning in a student so that he/she can become an asset to the society.

Sri Rathnakumar, Secretary ShriSodeVadhiraja Mutt Education Trust Presided the function. Principal of the college Prof. Dr. ThirumaleshwarBhat was present on the Dias.

Ms. Renita S. Monis welcomed the gathering; Ms. Shreya performed invocation; The Chief Guest was introduced by Ms. Tejaswini H.; vote of Thanks was proposed by Mr. Anantesh K. Ms. SamanvithaBhagavath compered the program.
