Teachers Day – 2014

Teachers’ Day was celebrated at SMVITM organized by Extra-Curricular committee on 5^th September, 2014. The formal program organized at the institute premises was presided over by Sri. P. Shrinivasa Tantry, Vice President, Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust (SSVMET), Udupi and the best teacher award for the year 2013-14 initiated by the management was given away by the chief guest, Dr.P.R. Panchamukhi, a distinguished scholar & Professor, Emeritus and Chairman, Centre for Multi-Disciplinary Development Research, Dharwad.

Dr. Panchamukhi emphasized that the Teachers should motivate the students in all areas so that they can become the good citizens of India. After the formal function, students have conducted various activities and fun games for the faculties. Finally, program was concluded by the vote of thanks.
