SMVITM ECE Dept. Signs MoU with Mirafra Technologies on May 21, 2025

Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM) is excited to announce that its Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) has officially partnered with Mirafra Technologies, a leading technology consulting firm.

This significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry demands. The collaboration will provide SMVITM students with invaluable practical exposure and enhance their employability.

Under this MoU, Mirafra Technologies will conduct campus placement drives, offering eligible students direct employment opportunities within the company. Additionally, students will benefit from industry visits to Mirafra’s facilities, gaining firsthand experience of real-world practices and technologies in the semiconductor and embedded systems sectors.

Mirafra Technologies, headquartered in Bangalore with a global presence, is renowned for its expertise in ASIC design and boasts a team of over 1,000 engineers. This partnership is set to equip SMVITM students with insights into the latest industry trends, preparing them for successful careers in technology and engineering.

The MoU was formally signed by Mr. Vinod John, Vice President, Hardware Engineering, representing Mirafra Technologies, and key representatives from SMVITM, including Prof. Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal (CEO, Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Educational Institutions) and Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat (Principal, SMVITM).
