Selection of the Project under the VGST scheme of RGS/F

Mr. Sujay Raghavendra N, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management was awarded a research grant for his project titled “Coastal Hazards of saltwater intrusion: Detection and delineation along the coastal aquifers of Udupi shoreline” submitted to the VGST under RGS-F scheme for the financial year 2018-19. His project was approved by the government of Karnataka based on the recommendations of Vision Group on Science and Technology under the chairmanship of Bharath Ratna Prof. CNR Rao, Honorary President, JNCASR. The Total Grant allocated for this project is Rs. 5 lakh. The Management, Principal and staff members have expressed their happiness for the grant of this project.
