On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), in collaboration with its NSS-YRC Unit and Counselling Cell, organized a Poster Making Competition, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students across Engineering, Management, and Niraamaya College of Nursing. The event aimed to raise awareness among youth about the detrimental effects of tobacco use and promote a tobacco-free lifestyle.
The creative posters effectively conveyed the harmful consequences of tobacco consumption, emphasizing the importance of making healthier lifestyle choices. A total of 23 teams showcased their artistic talents and dedication to the cause. Two outstanding teams were recognized and awarded for their impactful and innovative presentations.
The event was graced by the presence of the Principal and CEO of SMVITM, along with members of the NSS-YRC Committee and the Counselling Cell. The organizers commended the students for their active participation and creativity in spreading awareness through art.
