Motivational talk for detained students

The Counseling Cell of SMVITM had organized a motivational talk for detained students on 19/09/2017 in the institute premises. Mrs. Laxmi Shetty, Department of Electronics and Communication, delivering a talk on ‘Self-Motivating Techniques’ highlighted the importance of spending time reading Motivational books and watching motivational videos. Mr. Rajesh Nayak talking on ‘SMART study’, instructed students to adapt Chart preparation, to do team work while preparing for examinations and to use Mnemonics in regular studies also. He demonstrated the concept of team work through one activity in which students gave an active participation. Mr. Chetan.R gave talk on “Mind set and Exam cracking skill”, in his talk emphasised the mind setting before examination, perpetual effort and elaborated the Exam evaluation system. Mrs. Shashikala and Mrs.Rajashree Nambiar interacted with the students through questionnaires and gave instructions regarding a new proposal to assist the detained students. All Counseling Cell members were present in the event.
