Kannada Rajyothsava Celebration

The National Service Scheme (NSS), Youth Red Cross (YRC) and Rotaract Club in association with Extra Curricular Committee of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal organized the Kannada Rajyothsava Celebration on 1 November 2018 in the institute premises.

Karnataka Prathibha Ratna Award Winner Kumari Vijetha Shetty, was the chief guest during the occasion.  She spoke on a number of salient points regarding the Kannada language Kannada Literature.

Dr Vasudeva, Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering of the institute presided over the function.

Mr Kishor Kumar Aroor, the Institutional NSS / YRC / RC Coordinator, Mr Ananthesh Rao, Institutional Coordinator for Extra Curricular Committee, All Departmental NSS/YRC/RC Coordinators, Heads and faculty members from various departments,  Ms Megha Samaga, Mr Aneesh Bhat, Ms Aparna Patkar, Presidents of NSS, RC and Extra Curricular respectively were present during the occasion.

The program commenced with a naada geete by Ms Chinmayi kulakarni and team. Mr Aneesh Bhat welcomed the gathering. Ms Megha Samaga briefed about the importance of Celebrating Rajyothsava program. Ms Samanvitha Bhagvath introduced the chief guest. The Program was compered by Ms Prajnashree  Achar. The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms Aparna Patkar.
