INSTALLATION CEREMONY OF ROTARACT CLUB – 2013

Rotaract club of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management, sponsored by Rotary Shankarpura was inaugurated by Rtn. PDG. A S N Hebbar by lighting the lamp. In his inaugural address he said “Through Rotaract clubs, students can attain international relationships, they can prosper in their education & profession” He also appealed “youths of today should commit themselves towards eliminating evils in the society.”

Chief guest Rtn. Jayaram Kotian, Rotaract District Chairperson, identifying new office bearers of the Rotaract club advised to collaborate with other clubs for better relations. The following students were appointed as the office bearers:

Rotary Assistant Governor Rtn. Manohar Rao administered Rotaract oath to new Rotaractors & wished them with bright future.

Sri Ratnakumar, Secretary, SSVMET, in his address expressed that SMVITM should develop as an institute with difference & students should be provided with all facilities for their overall development & also complemented Rotary Shankarpura for taking initiative of establishment of Rotarct club.

Principal, Prof. Dr. Radhakrishna S Aithal wished the students to emerge from these clubs with better human values along with professional knowledge.

In the beginning, invocation was delivered by Rtn. Anil D’Sa. Rotaract prayer was read by Sneha S Hegde. Rotary Shankarpura President Rtn. Henry Castelino welcomed the guests & gathering. Rotaract chairperson Rtn. U Nandan Kumar in his proposal speech explained the vision & mission of the Rotaract club. Finally, Rotary Shankarpura Secretary Rtn. Antony D’Sa delivered the vote of thanks.
