Industry Visit to UPCL, Padubidri

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell in association with Department of Electronics and Communication conducted an industry visit on 29^th & 30^th August 2018 for final year students of Electronics & Communication engineering department, Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management Bantakal. The students visited UPCL as a part of experiential learning through industrial visit.

In total 95 seventh semester ECE students along with faculty coordinators Mr. Ganesh Shetty, Mr. Avinash N J & Mr. Sandesh Kumar visited the company.

During the visit Mr. Lalith Prasad Sharma HR Admin of UPCL accompanied the students and explained the safety rule & procedures abide inside the premise, followed by description on the entire process of power generation along with showing the respective plant units.

Students also got opportunity to view boiler section, turbine power generation system and digital commanding system.
