Industrial visit – UPCL, Padubidre

An industrial visit to UPCL, Padubidre was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell in association with Training and Placement Cell of SMVITM Bantakal on 03.05.2018. (55+2 nos including teaching faculties in each batches)

In UPCL, Mr. Lalith Prasad gave details of coal yard, DM plant, Boiler, ESP and turbine. Students were taken around the plant and showed the working of boiler and turbine.

Mr Narayan Nayak and Mr Manjunath S Asst. Professors, Department of Mechanical Engineering, along with students of pre-final years visited the UPCL. The students interacted with the resource person and gained clarity on several aspects pertaining to functioning of thermal power plant.
