Activities of National Service Scheme (N.S.S) for the academic year 2016-17 at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal has been inaugurated by Prof. Gopalakrishana Samaga, Professor and Head, Dept. of History, St. Mary’s First Grade College Shirva on Saturday, 06 August 2016 at the institute premises.
In his inaugural address, Prof. Samaga clearly explained how NSS was started, its objectives, benefits and few success stories of NSS. Also, he honored Ananthraj, Sandesh, Anusha Pai and Arun H.R respectively the President, Vice president, Secretary and Treasurer of NSS for the academic year 2016-17.
Prof. Dr. B. Radheshyam, Principal-Incharge and Head, Department of Civil Engineering in his presidential address said that the programs organized by NSS, should not be only restricted to the institute but it should reach the social community too.
