Idea Generation Workshop at SMVITM, Bantakal

The Institution’s Innovation Council in association with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of SMVITM organized “IDEA GENERATION WORKSHOP” on 25 January 2023 in the institute premises.

Mr. B. S Revankar, Ex-Director, NITK-STEP, & Honorable Governing Council Member, SSVME, UDUPI inaugurated the session by lighting the lamp.

Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwar Bhat, Principal, SMVITM, has briefed about the program  and also conveyed the students about institution’s aim in producing more entrepreneurs and the future planning of Entrepreneurship Development Cell of SMVITM in helping the students to become an entrepreneur.

The chief guest of the program, Mr. B. S Revankar informed the gathering that our country is showing progress in Global Innovation Index due to the effort of Government of India and more young innovators are emerging in the county. He urged the participants to involve themselves in innovation activity and contribute to the growth of the country.

During the session Mr. Revankar encouraged the students to become an entrepreneur by giving various examples of innovation happened during the covid period. He also informed the students that the problems in the society lead to generation of different ideas.

Students were actively participated over the entire session and gained lot of knowledge, awareness and new ideas to think in the direction of becoming an Entrepreneur. Prof. Dr. Ganesh Aithal Vice principal of SMVITM, Mr. Arun Upadhyaya coordinator of Institution’s Innovation Council cell were gracing the occasion. All the Coordinators of Institution’s Innovation Council were present over the session.

The Session started with the invocation by Ms. Surabhi and was compered by Ms. Shravanthi.
