Hands-on workshop on Arduino application & IOT

The Co-curricular committee and Hobby Project Club  of SMVITM organized a hands-on workshop  for first year students of SMVITM in the institute premises on 16 and 18 October 2023 in the DSP lab, E&C Department.

Dr. Renita S Monis welcomed the students for the workshop and introduced the resource person by briefing the workshop.Final year students of Ec department , Mr. Prasanna Shet, Ms. Ankitha Shet, Mr. Pratham & Mr. Rahul were the resource persons for the workshop.

The workshop provided attendees with a comprehensive overview of the Arduino application as well as IOT, highlighting its significance. Participants gained valuable insights to connect to the concept of technology which influences them to design and build projects.

Ms. Ankitha Shet provided the introduction of Arduino application through engaging presentations and interactive sessions, Mr. Prasanna shet , Mr. Pratham & Mr. Rahul engaged the students in a hands-on session with Arduino,facilitating a deeper understanding of  concepts. Moreover, attendees had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, enabling them to apply their knowledge practically. The workshop aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge of Arduino application & IOT effectively. At the end of the workshop the resource person team also provided their experience in doing projects by showing the demo of their mini project on IOT using arduino.

The event was conducted  by co-curricular coordinator Dr. Renita S Monis, Department of Mathematics.

She highlighted the importance of the workshop and thanked the resource persons for their contribution in conducting the workshop. The participation and appreciation certificates  were awarded for the participants and resource persons after the workshop by  Dr. Guruprasad,HOD of Ec department.
