First Look- Poster Presentation

The Language Lab/CCC committee of SMVITM has organized a competition “First Look- Poster Presentation” on October 6, 2018 in LH 205 of admin block. To engage young people in sustainable actions that results in positive change in their local community through art. The purpose of this contest is to engage youth to share their story of how in their own capacity to address change or issues in their community or country.

Engineers, like all professionals, must possess a well-developed ability to communicate. This poster competition is designed to emphasize the ability to deliver a visual presentation. Subject matter is to be related to some area in the field of Engineering.

In a group of 2, the students had to make attractive and influential posters and submit it to the activity in- charge by October 03, 2018. The posters were then filtered and chosen for presentation for further evaluation of student’s thoughts and ideas. The presentation had to be given with in a time limit of 10 min. The presentation was evaluated on basis of Poster: Attractive features and its impact (thoughts and ideas); Presentation: Creativity and Design; Time limit: 10 min; and Confidence: Communication Skills and Style.

The judges for the event were Mr. Nagraj Bhat & Ms. Priyanka, Assistant Professor (Sr.), CSE Department. Language lab/CCC members had a great time sharing their thoughts and ideas. It was an appreciable activity and the students enjoyed this fun filled activity a lot.
