Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp

A one day “Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp” was organized at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM), Bantakal in Udupi district on September 25, 2015.

The program was arranged for the benefit of students who are planning to become entrepreneurs by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of the college. Prof. B S. Revankar, the Former Director of NITK-STEP was the resource person for this awareness program.

Prof. B. S Revankar has elaborated the issues such as basics of entrepreneurship, achievement motivation, idea generation, selection criteria, and business plan during his discussion which was well received by the students.

Prof. Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal, Director, Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal, Prof. Dr. A. Ganesha, Dean (Academics) were present during the function. Ms. Nishitha J D’Souza welcomed the gathering and Entrepreneurship Development Cell coordinator Mr. Arun Upadhyaya proposed the vote of thanks at the end of the program.
