ECE Department Successfully Organizes AlumNexus Mentorship Program (April-May 2025)

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM) has successfully organized AlumNexus – an Alumni Mentorship Program for its third-year students. This impactful initiative connected 28 dedicated Alumni Mentors with 108 enthusiastic mentees, fostering valuable guidance and support.

The program featured two key sessions:

• Session 1: How to Prepare for Placements (conducted between April 20-27, 2025), focused on crucial strategies and tips for campus recruitment success.
• Session 2: Exam Preparation & Significance of CGPA for the Future (conducted from May 20, 2025, onwards), emphasized the importance of consistent academic performance for future career opportunities.

Most sessions were conveniently held online during late evening hours to accommodate both mentors and mentees. The ECE Department extends its sincere gratitude to all the alumni mentors for their invaluable time and dedication, to the students for their active participation, and to the faculty coordinators of the department for their outstanding efforts in making AlumNexus a resounding success.
