CET-KEA Pre-Counselling and Career Guidance Program Held at Shrimad Bhuvanendra High School Karkala

CET KEA Pre-counseling and career guidance program was organized at Shrimad Bhuvanendra High School, Karkala on 11 June, 2017. The program was organized by Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal. ShriP. Shridhara Acharya, Principal, Shrimad Bhuvanendra High School, inaugurated the program. In his inaugural address he told that one must come up in his life through his/her own efforts. Betterment of one’s life depends on one’s attitude. He advised the participants to take advantage of the career guidance programs to clarify the doubts and take clear decisions.

Prof. Vasudeva, HOD of CSE, SMVITM explained the process involved in admission through Karnataka Examination Authority. He elaborated the measures to be taken during various steps of admission process like document verification, option entry, choice entry, admission, seat rejection, payment and refund of fees, subsequent rounds of seat selection.

Mr. Ranjith Bhat, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SMVITM explained about career options after PUC. Mr. Nagaraja Rao, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering gave an overview of SMVITM. Mr. Raghavendra Rao proposed the vote of thanks.  Ms. Ramyashree and Ms. SowmyaBhat compeered the program.
