Campus Cleaning Program

ECO club unit of SMVITM, organized a campus cleaning program on 18 October 2014 at the institute premises. This is a dream program of our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swatch Bharath Abhiyaan.

Prof.Dr.Radhakrishna S. Aithal, Principal inaugurated the program. During the program, Dean Academics, HOD’s of various departments, Faculty members of ECO club, section heads were present. More than 110 Eco club members and student volunteers were participated in the program and cleaned the campus. Students made four different groups and cleaned at main building, each and every Department blocks, Hostels, Guest House and near Canteen. They picked the plastic bags, wrappers, papers, plastic bottles and other unnecessary items and put into the dustbin. They also placed the caption board “Keep the Campus Clean” at some important places.
