Blood Donation Camp at SMVITM, Bantakal

National Service Scheme (NSS), Youth Red Cross Wing, and Rotaract Club of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal, Udupi, in association with Kasturba Hospital Blood Center, Manipal organized a one-day Blood Donation Camp on 27 November 2021 in the institute premises.

Dr. Shamee Shastry, Professor and Head, Department of Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion at KMC Manipal inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal, officials from KMC Manipal Blood Bank, NSS-YRC-RC Unit Coordinator, Faculty, Staff, Office-bearers, and members of NSS-YRC-RC Unit were present during the inaugural function.

A total of 80 units of blood were collected from faculty, staff, and students of SMVITM.
