BLOOD DONATION CAMP

National Service Scheme (NSS), Youth Red Cross wing, (YRC) and Rotaract Club of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal, in association with the blood bank of K.M.C, Manipal; Prasad Nethralaya, Udupi organized one-day blood donation camp at the institute premises on 26 April 2014.

Shri P Shinivasa Tantry, Vice President of the SSVMET inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp.  Dr. Shamee Shastry, Doctor-in-Charge, KMC Blood Bank, Prof. Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal,   Dr. Rajesh Kumar , Mr. Jeevan Shetty of KMC Manipal were also present during the Program.

The blood donation camp began with the Mechanical HOD donating the Blood. More than 170 people, including members of the faculty, staff and students of SMVITM donated blood and a total of 143 units of blood were collected at the camp.
