Bantakal Engineering College: MoU signed with leading design & consultancy firm

Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM) Bantakal has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a renowned civil engineering design & consultancy firm, FE Designs, Bengaluru on 30 October 2015 at the institute premises. As per the MoU, both SMVITM and FE Designs have agreed to work together to provide hands-on training to the interested faculty and students of the institute on the latest design and detailing software packages like CYPE from Spain and CUBUS from Switzerland. FE Designs has agreed to provide internship facilities and academic project works for the students, and has also assured continued assistance to the institute in organizing industrial tours, workshops and campus placements. H. H. Shri Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji, the President of the SSVMET and Chairman of the Governing Council signed the MoU on behalf of SMVITM.

Mr. Amarnath S N, Proprietor of FE Designs signed on behalf of the firm. In his address, Mr. Amarnath stressed on engineering institutions associating with the industries for nurturing the creativity of the students, leading to innovation and better understanding of the subject. Sri Raghavendra Tantri, Management Representative; Ms. Padmashree, FE Designs; Prof. Dr. Radhakrishna S Aithal, Director; Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal; Prof. Dr. A Ganesha, Dean Academics; Prof. Dr. B Radheshyam, HOD of Civil Engineering and other HODs were present during the occasion.
