The valedictory ceremony of the intercollegiate techno-cultural fest, Ananthothsava-23, held at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal on 23rd March 2023. Around 200 students from various institutes across Karnataka participated in the various events held as part of the fest. Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Kenjar, Mangaluru won the Ananthothsava-23 championship and Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology, Puttur secured runner up place.
Mr. Jagdish Acharya, CEO, Paints & Coatings Skill Council, Former CEO of PPG Asian Paints was the chief guest of the program. In his address, he insisted everyone to be true to self, practice humility, always think of long term implications while taking decisions and have a proper work life balance to achieve happiness in life.
The prizes were distributed to the winners of various technical and cultural competitions of Ananthothsava.
Shri. Rathnakumar, Secretary, Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust, Udupi presided over the ceremony. In his presidential address, congratulated the prize winners as well as the participants for active participation. Dr. Thirumaleshwar Bhat, Principal of SMVITM, Dr. Ganesh Aithal, Vice Principal of SMVITM and Ms. Renita Sharon Monis, Co-Curricular coordinator were present on the dais.
Ms. Rajashree Nambiar welcomed the gathering. Ms. Renita Sharon Monis presented the report of Ananthothsava – 23. Ms. Savitha Shenoy introduced the chief guest to the gathering. Ms. Vijetha and Mr. Arun Upadhyaya announced the winners of various technical and cultural competitions. Ms. Aditya V D rendered an invocation. Mr. Nagaraj Rao proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Kushi Bangera and Ms. Adithi Nayak compèred the program.
As a part of the Ananthothsava – 23, the students of the institute exhibited a rock band performance which was well appreciated by the audience.
