The alumni talk was held on 05 November 2018 for the final year students. The talk was given by Mr Vignesh D kamath, Project Executive –B&P Aqua systems, Hyderabad.
During the beginning of the session he told about the company B&P Aqua systems. It is the water purification company which has carried out many water purification system projects all over India such as drinking water systems for various government schools and also installed in ISKCON “Akshayapatra” mega Kitchen which has the best water purification system in Bangalore.
Current projects of this company are carried out using the closed circuit reverse osmosis (CCRO) technology rather than the traditional RO Technique the main advantage of this process is the recirculation of water through membrane .The traditional RO technology gives only 50% efficiency whereas using CCRO technology the efficiency of 90% can be attained with 7-14 kg/cm² of solid removal. And this type of technique effectively saves 33MLD of water per year.
In the later session he discussed about difficulties faced by the students such as:
How to stand out in the crowd?, What should be done during the final year’s viz. undertaking innovative projects and its publication in reputed journals?, What do the students expect from the market ? What the recruiters want in an candidate ? and Where and how you can develop yourself ?
Mr. Vignesh also insisted the students to:
Be professional , avoid loose talks , keep up your words to your commitments
And always back your statements with logic and technical knowledge.
