A talk on ‘Join Indian Army’

Human Rights Cell of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management, (SMVITM), Bantakal, organized a guest talk on ‘Join Indian Army’ by Colonel Sanjiv Shukla, Commanding officer, NCC, Manipal for the students of SMVITM on 26 September 2014.

Addressing the aspirants willing to join Indian army Col. Shukla threw lime light on the overall preparations needed to join Indian army and to take it as a career. Discipline is the cornerstone of career in the army and NCC could be the launching pad for students to adopt a lifestyle of discipline and dedication. Making a presentation on the Importance of Engineers in Army, Col. Shukla delineated the career opportunities for engineering graduates in the Indian Army and urged the students who were dedicated and ready to make sacrifices for the country to join the army and serve the nation.
