Mentoring Program on Full Stack Development by SMVITM Students

The Co-Curricular Committee and Code Troopers Club of Computer Science and Engineering Department of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal in association with The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Indira Shiva Rao Polytechnic College, conducted a Mentoring Program on Full Stack Development for 15 Diploma students. The program was conducted on every Friday afternoon during the period from 05-11-2022 to 06-01-2023 was led by mentors Mr. Vishwas Prabhu and Mr. Yajnesh, both final-year students of SMVITM under the guidance of Mrs. Savitha A Shenoy, Assistant Professor of SMVITM and Mrs. Shubhalatha, HOD of CSE Dept of ISRP.
The course covered a variety of topics, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Git & GitHub, Node.js, React, MongoDB, ES6,Rest APIs, Cloud Computing, Micro Services, Docker, and Kubernetes. The students gained an understanding of the fundamentals of the above-mentioned topics.
In the initial days, the students were provided with theoretical knowledge followed by a hands-on session guided by the mentors. Each student was given a different assignment to be done on Tech Stack such as React, MongoDB, HTML,CSS, JS, Docker, and Kubernetes. The topics which were covered would be very helpful to the students for various assignments and works in future.
The valedictory program of the course was held on 06-01-2023 at Seminar Hall of Indira Shiva Rao Polytechnic College.
