Workshop on “Idea Generation”

Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management Bantakal conducted a workshop on “Idea Generation” on 18 and 19, November 2020 for the benefit of students. The Program was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of the institute and conducted using an on-line platform. Prof. B. S Revankar, Ex-Director, NITK-STEP, Suratkal was the resource person for the program.

Prof. Revankar explained to the participants that, an idea can be generated by identifying the problems in the society, observing the surroundings, Innovation in Technology, looking at available resources also demand in the society. He quoted many ideas that were implemented by startups even during the COVID Pandemic and such situations are an opportunity for new inventions. The students participated in large numbers and interacted with the resource person.

Dr. Ganesh Aithal, Vice Principal, and Faculties were present during the session. Mr. Arun Upadhyaya, coordinator of Entrepreneurship Development Cell welcomed and introduced the resource person and Mr. Sandesh Kumar proposed a vote of thanks at the end of the program.
