Industrial visit to Simply supported Pvt. Ltd Mangalore.

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell in association with student chapter of Indian society for technical education (ISTE) under Civil Engineering department had organized a one day technical trip to Simply Supported Pvt. Ltd, Mangalore for VII semester Civil Engineering students on 27^th October 2018. Around 49 Students were taken to an ongoing project site called Palm Streak which is located near More Supermarket at Beajai, Mangalore. Main objective of this trip is to make students industry ready and give an overview of advanced modern technology adoption in industry. Deep insight on the topic of R.C framed multi storey construction was given by the Simply Supported Pvt. Ltd crew and later on practical activities were carried out by the students on various jobs like plan reading and understanding, execution of construction of masonry wall, plastering and putty rendering, checking of ceiling and wall plastering, quality checking, safety precautions during high rise building construction and also detailed introduction was given on tower crane and bar bending machines.
