GATE 2021 training cum mock test program “SWADHYAYA”

The Student Chapter of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) in association with STHAPATHI student club of Civil Engineering department of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of technology and Management, Bantakal has organized, GATE 2021 training cum mock test program titled as “SWADHYAYA” from 06  to 11 Jan 2021 at college premises.

Inaugural ceremony of the event was held on 6^th Jan and Ms. Pallavi M, PG Scholar, NITK, Surathkal was the key note speaker to address the students regarding the preparation and exam pattern of GATE 2021. She also shared her experience in preparation and motivated the students.  In the afternoon session pre training mock test and the subjects were taught by the faculty members of the Civil engineering department of SMVITM, Bantakal. On 11^th Jan 2021 the valedictory function was held followed by a post training mock test to evaluate the students performance after the training. Dr. Sriram Marathe, Assistant Professor, NMAMIT, Nitte was the resource person and the guest of honour for the event. In his address he spoke about the advantages of cracking the GATE and opportunities in various sectors under GATE score. He also motivated the students to take up the exam with utmost priority and dedication. Dr. Marathe handed over the GATE 2021 book to Ms. Riya from final year student of civil engineering department for the highest score in mock test.

The program was coordinated by Mr. Sooraj Kumar, ISTE Coordinator & Mr. Madhusoodhan Rao, STHAPATHI student club coordinator and moderated the program by Ms. Chaithra Shetty, Final students of civil engineering department.  Ms. Shreya Udupa invocated.
