Certification program on Cype CADD Software at SMVITM

The Student Chapter of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) and Civil Engineering Department of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM), Bantakal in association with F E Designs, Bangalore has organized a certification program on Cype CADD Software at the institute premises from 27^th March 2019 to 31^st March 2019. The program was conducted by the resource person Er. Amarnath S N, owner of FE Design Bangalore and CYPE Software Distributor- India along with his crew members. Mr. Amarnath has quoted during the lecture on software demonstration “Unemployment in India is not only because of the non availability of the job vacancies in the company, but the lack of skill set in the Engineering graduates is the main root cause of the problem”.  CYPECAD is a structural design and analysis software for architects, engineers, and construction firms used for the purpose of creating and analyzing reinforced concrete and steel structures, including houses, commercial, industrial buildings and civil work projects. Total 59 students have attended the course from third and final year of Civil Engineering department. Several topics in the advanced version of the software were discussed such as commands, analysis along with code check, reinforcement detailing and many more which could be helpful for the students to update their skill set in the competitive society. In this five days of the training program students were able to develop their own plan and analyses the RCC structure by using Cype CADD software.
