Step into a world of discipline, courage, and leadership with the NCC Army Wing, a proud part of the 4 Kar Engr Company, Manipal, since 2020. Nestled within the vibrant SMVITM campus, we invite you to embark on a journey where patriotism meets adventure, and hard work transforms you into a disciplined and responsible citizen. Here, you’ll not only learn the value of teamwork, but also hone your decision-making skills, leadership qualities, and above all, the essence of discipline.

Joining the NCC is a commitment—one that requires dedication and determination. As a cadet, you’ll be part of an elite group, where you’ll receive the opportunity to develop through comprehensive training, including practical and theory-based education. Every year, our cadets undergo rigorous training, including participation in 10-day camps and examinations leading to the prestigious B and C certificates, recognized nationwide. These certifications are not only a testament to your perseverance but also give you an edge in various career opportunities, including placement drives.

Our NCC wing proudly welcomes an intake of 50 cadets (both SD and SW cadets), providing them with uniforms, shoes, and all necessary training material. Classes are held every 1st and 3rd Saturday, covering essential aspects like Physical Training (PT), drill, weapon training, and theoretical knowledge such as map reading. Regular parades ensure that you become proficient in marching and other essential skills.

At NCC, discipline is our core value. From Independence Day to Republic Day, our cadets take part in prestigious parades, showcasing their spirit and dedication. Moreover, we encourage cadets to participate in meaningful social service initiatives like Swachh Bharat, coastal clean-ups, blood donation drives, and disaster management activities, embodying the true essence of service and leadership.
