As part of its ongoing commitment to fostering advanced learning and knowledge sharing, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM) recently hosted another insightful session of its weekly technical talk series, “Gyan Bits.” This platform provides an opportunity for advanced learners within the CSE department to present their research and delve into cutting-edge topics.
The latest session featured a compelling presentation on “A study on the synthesis and SSPM analysis of mono-few layer graphene” delivered by Ms. Kathyayini Kamath, a bright student from the 6th semester CSE. Ms. Kamath elucidated the intricate processes involved in synthesizing mono-few layer graphene, a material with immense potential in various technological applications. Her talk also covered the detailed SSPM (Scanning Spreading Resistance Microscopy) analysis, providing valuable insights into the material’s properties and characteristics.
The “Gyan Bits” series continues to be a vital initiative, encouraging students to explore beyond their curriculum, engage in advanced research, and share their findings with peers and faculty, thereby enriching the academic environment of the CSE department.
