Redesign your Mind by Mrs. Tanuja Maben

Mrs. Tanuja Maben, Director of Tanuja’s Mind Therapy, Manipal a renowned Performance Coach, Mind Trainer, and Therapist, conducted an insightful session on “Redesign Your Mind” where she emphasized the power of self-awareness and emotional growth. She began the session with a touching example of a child and mother, illustrating how fear can be overcome by facing it head-on. Encouraging attendees to become leaders, she highlighted the importance of standing up, speaking up, and training oneself for confidence. ‘Feedback’ was emphasized as a critical tool for growth—understanding what one likes, dislikes, and identifying the root causes of negative thinking such as assumptions, self-talk, and emotional baggage. She urged everyone to reflect on their inner world and how they have designed their minds. Mrs. Maben redefined stress as simply an inability to handle situations effectively. Instead of focusing on others, one must look inward to manage stress better. She shared an empowering thought—Confidence is the expansion of the mind. She further explained how the brain functions in three layers and demonstrated Practical Mind Training Techniques. Participants were guided through simple yet powerful exercises to calm the mind and boost positivity. Mrs. Maben spoke about different types of strokes—ways in which people acknowledge and validate emotions. She also introduced an effective “ 5-second rule” – counting 5,4,3,2,1 and taking action immediately, which helps overcome hesitation and procrastination. The session left participants enlightened, motivated, and equipped with practical tools to redesign their minds and lead a confident, stress-free life.
