The Spoken Tutorial project is the initiative of the ‘Talk to a Teacher’ activity of the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India.The Spoken Tutorial Project is about teaching and learning a particular FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) like Linux, Scilab, LaTeX, PHP & MySQL, Java, C/C++, LibreOffice etc. via an easy Video tool – Spoken Tutorials.
The FOSS training covered under the project includes software like scripting software, application software, computation software, computational fluid dynamics software, utility software, programming software, animation and graphic software, EDA Tools, Chemistry/Chemical software etc.,
With the team’s continuous and dedicated work, IIT Bombay through the Spoken Tutorial Coordinator, Ms Anushree Dharmadikari, recognized our Institution to be Nodal Center for the Udupi District.
