Swaroop Belle of V Sem Mechanical Engineering a student of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management, Bantakal has won the First Place in Team Kata (Male colour Belts, above 18 years category) and Second Place in Individual Kumite (Male orange & Green Belts, 50 to 55Kgs Category) and also Third Place in Individual Kata (Male Orange & Green Belts, above 18 years category) during the “32nd All India Budokan Karate Federation Championship – 2014” held at Srinivas Mallya Indoor stadium, Mangalore, from 16 to 19 October 2014.
